My work is included in this group exhibition that is intended to encourage fresh reflection on today’s issues in our culture. Environment, justice, conflict, disaster, immigration, and economy are among the issues that fill newscasts every day. Art images have a way of speaking to the heart more deeply. We need art in today’s world that addresses cultural issues directly or that offers a perspective which brings hope and healing.
There’s plenty to see! There are FOUR art exhibits and displays currently in the building:
- Seeing Our World, hallway gallery, 14 artists
- Threading Through Us, sanctuary gallery, 5 artists
- Children of Bethlehem, gathering space, photos on easels
- Seven-Word Stories, hallway gallery left wall, words about being or encountering “The Stranger”
