My piece, Mantle, is included in this group exhibition that explores the theme Embodiment.

Embodiment is a way of taking on form. An abstract thing becomes tangible and visible. Light and shadow take position. An actor embodies a multi-layered character. (We are all multi-layered characters!) A flower embodies color, curve, and reach. A dancer embodies feeling, energy, and longing. 

In his birth, life, and death, Jesus embodied the essence of God, within the round confines of God’s own creation.

We are invited to live embodied lives; to move into the margins and embody salt, light, yeast, leaven, embrace, inclusion. Jesus modeled this embodiment with actions and words and relationships. This art exhibit, in the 2025 season of Advent and Christmastide, offers visual glimpses of embodiment.
